Oh, how I love those sun-kissed summer days at Dollywood! There are so many fun ways to spend our time together, and the live entertainment is always a highlight.
During the day, you’ll find family-favorite shows like the Gazillion Bubble Show, playing at DP’s Celebrity Theater. It’s a mesmerizing and colorful spectacle that keeps my boys amazed and engaged. During our visits, we also love catching roaming performers such as The Roberts Sisters, Brandon Givens, and Willow. These talented entertainers can be found throughout the park, making even the simple act of walking from one ride to another an exciting adventure.
Be sure to cool off for just a bit and catch one of the Imagination Playhouse showcases, where our favorite children’s books come to life! It’s air conditioned and around 20 minutes, so it’s a nice break on a hot summer day. You can see favorite books like The Little Engine that Could or Violet the Pilot (which we saw!). It’s an unforgettable experience for the kiddos!

Pool Noodles Dance Party
One of our favorite evening events is Dollywood’s Sweet Summer Nights Dance Party, which typically takes place just before the 3D drone and fireworks show. This 30-minute dance party turns Wildwood Grove into a vibrant scene filled with a hyped DJ, energetic dancers, and the irresistible urge to move your feet!
In the Pool Noodles Dance Party everyone can dance and play along to the music, even if you’re not typically a dancer. We can’t help but get swept up in the excitement, and our boys have so much fun being part of the action.
