The Haunted Barn
The Haunted Barn has been putting on shows in their barn of fear for more than 27 years and is one of the most well-known haunted attractions in East Tennessee. The self-guided tour contains 16 rooms, culminating with a perplexing maze.

The Haunted Hilltop
This is a huge frightful attraction, and you may also take a scary ride on a spooky old fashioned hay ride through the woods. This is the largest haunted house attraction in the area with separate haunted attractions including a huge haunted house, haunted hay ride and a dark maze. Concessions are available and there are more activities than usual making it the ideal spot for an exciting scare.
When? Friday and Saturday nights in October

6 Fears Hell’s Bar Dam
In this horrifying attraction, you can participate in a paranormal adventure or a haunted house thrill – referred to as one of the most haunted sites in the country! There are five distinct scare experiences to see here, so be sure to check this one out if you love a good scare.
When? End of September through the beginning of November

Post Mortem Haunted Trail – this trail is located just up the road from Chattanooga and is worth the short drive. It is a fundraiser event that is 25 minutes long and is very highly rated. The minimum recommended age for this extreme haunt attraction is 14 due to the intensity of this attraction, and their website states you will NOT be touched.
The Scream Chamber – another short drive from Chattanooga will take you to Athens, TN, where the Scream Chamber awaits. This haunted attraction is for those 12 and up and they also offer overnight investigations, where you can go behind the scenes of this scary mansion and look for the ghosts of the original owners.
